Launches the ATOM Chainsaw, Australia’s first and only fully integrated magnesium diecast lightweight chainsaw. Features such as the self-cleaning air filter were later adopted by global manufacturers. -
The ATOM Electronic Ignition System wins ABC TV’s Inventors of the Year Award, revolutionising small-engine performance. This innovation replaced mechanical points and condensers, was adopted by international manufacturers, and sold millions worldwide.
